Seems like I’m too-often given the perplexing question “Where do I get free stuff?”
Look, I’m not really good with vague questions, and these always read like quips.(One gentleman complained in a comment that he was having just the hardest time finding a free iPad 2 ? When I, obviously, answered sarcastically, he responded [ALL IN CAPS] that it would be the last time he ever asked a broad for help.)
But let’s say you happen to be looking for a real answer to the question. Here is my best advice:
My blog and facebook page will help you LEARN. Follow the links for coupons and freebies whenever I find them or, as a community of freebie-seekers, one of us finds them on THE INTERNET.
I’m currently auctioning this coupon good for a free GaGa ice cream product on Listia. If you haven’t joined yet, you’re missing out. Listia is an online marketplace where you can give away stuff you don’t need anymore and get stuff you want in return… for free! And when you join, you automatically get 400 credits to use toward this voucher or anything else you may like. See you there!

… is that it seems to be part of some strange anti-freebies conspiracy. Just kidding. (Kinda.) But, for some mysterious reason, Firefox almost never works when it comes to requesting free samples. Links are “unclickable”. Sometimes they just plain don’t exist.
The most recent example of this can be seen if you’ve tried to request a free sample of Mint Ease Cooling Cream. There is a very prominent link reading “For a Free Sample Tube Click Here”. This link works like a charm in Google Chrome. For some reason, it doesn’t show up AT ALL if you’re using Firefox.
Why is this? It’s a big mystery to me.
Firefox used to be my go-to browser. Now I only use Google Chrome.
And if you’re actually using Internet Explorer…
Good luck with that.
